Led by Matthew and a talented team of photographers, we specialize in capturing exceptional images for over 500 events annually, including both private and corporate functions. Our unique style and commitment to quality have made us a trusted choice for clients across the city.
Role Overview: We are seeking enthusiastic and reliable individuals to join us as Casual Event Photographers. This is an exciting opportunity to be part of a dynamic team where you’ll capture vibrant moments at various events. While prior photography experience is not required, a passion for learning and a knack for engaging with people are essential.
Key Responsibilities:
Event Coverage: Capture stunning photos at events ranging from birthday parties to corporate functions. Ensure to arrive on time, prepare your gear, and photograph all requested moments.
Marketing and Promotion: Hand out Rift Photography business cards and promotional materials. Actively promote our services to clients and guests.
Photography and Uploading: Follow our style guide focusing on natural and balanced lighting. Upload all RAW photos to our server by 9:00 AM the day after each event.
Professional Conduct: Dress appropriately for each event, interact respectfully with clients and guests, and handle company equipment with care.
Social Media Engagement: Take and upload videos to Instagram, engaging with guests and encouraging them to participate in photos.
What We’re Looking For:
Availability: Open to working primarily on weekends, with shifts usually between 6 PM and 11 PM on Fridays and Saturdays, and occasionally outside these hours.
Willingness to Learn: No prior photography experience needed—we’ll provide one-on-one training and workshops to get you up to speed.
Skills: Strong customer service, creativity, attention to detail, and the ability to work under pressure. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills are a must.
