AT THE CRAWLEY BOAT SHED AND UWA

It was the day before the wedding and I received a call from Sylvia’s friend, asking if I was available last minute to photograph a small elopement along the Swan River foreshore.

I had a family event on the following day, but I knew it would be worth being a little late to capture these two lovers do their thing at some iconic Perth locations.

Fast forward 24 hours and I’m at the Crawley boat shed, meeting Ghadla and Syliva for the first time.

Luckily there was only one vlogger taking selfies in front of the Perth icon, which meant we didn’t have to wait long until we saw these two strut their stuff along the jetty.

JAY & LEAH’S WEDDING

AT PINEY LAKES RESERVE AND ABOARD THE CLASSY LADY

It’s July, 2019. I receive an email from Leah. She has contacted me to ask if I’d be available for a wedding with a twist! It’s on both land and sea. Luckily, I do have my sea legs

and I also have my land legs.

So saying yes was easy. And after meeting the two for the first time, I couldn’t have been happier that these guys chose me to capture their day.

During my second meeting with Jay & Leah I was greeted by the entire immediate family, huddled around a scale model of the ceremony venue. Laughter filled the room as I walked in and they realised the madness this wedding planning had driven them too. But! If you need any advice on how to plan a perfect day, don’t laugh, because this day was spectacular.

We were fortunate enough to slip in just before the madness of Covid and celebrate the two young loves seal the deal on land and perform their first dance in front of one too many loose bucks parties on the Swan River.
